Happy New Year 2020

Ten years is ten years.

It’s the start of a new decade — because I said so. A decade is merely a group of 10 years, right? So, having not been around at that long-ago Year One, I am free to divide the time I spend on this earth any way I want! And I’ve decided that the new decade begins now.

So here I am, ready to create a new me.

I have tools:

*a diet program

*a subscription to the YMCA

*books on Time Management (Atomic Habits by James Clear, Indistractable by Nir Eyal and Younger Next Year (for women) by Chris Crowley and Dr. Henry Lodge, MD).

With these tools, I plan to create a new me — and also a framework for writing and publishing the books I’ve been meaning to write and publish. I’ve been so distracted and unhealthy over the past year and more, so now it’s time to straighten up and fly right.

Last year, I did manage to make a little teeny bit of progress — I lost about 15 pounds (Only about 85 more to go!) and I started writing a couple books, but never made it past the first 30,000 words.

This year, I hope to do better. I’m going to learn about Amazon Ads, Instagram, and email list-building, I’m going to schedule time for writing and for exercising. I’m going to post about my results along the way, as well as starting up my Victorian-era history notes again.

By 2021, I hope to have made progress. I hope you’ll check in from time to time, and see how I’m doing!

Welcome to the first day of the rest of our lives.
